Wet Taps

We also offer wet taps for Contractors and Municipalities in need of this type of service. For pipe ranging from 2″ up to 24″ on all types of pipe materials, PVC, Ductile Iron, Asbestos Cement, Concrete (PCCP) and others.

The Wet Tapping process allows tie-ins or modifications to an existing system that is pressurized or in service without any interruption to that system.  This saves the customers money and time, with no shutdown of the utility or service system.

The Wet Tapping process uses a custom-designed fitting that contains system pressure, a valve that controls the new connection and a drilling machine that cuts the pipe
