Company History

DeJonge Excavating Contractors Inc. has been in business since 1978.  The company was originally established in west Michigan and moved to Florida in 1984.  The business located in the Venice area, conducts business in most of southwest Florida.  DeJonge Excavating Contractors Inc. clientele includes over a dozen municipalities and several building contractors.  The company has many experienced employees with very diversified fields of experience.  DeJonge Excavating Contractors is a State Certified General and Underground Utility Contractor, FDOT Prequalified and FDOT Certified Minority Contractor.

Over 30 years experience in all areas of underground utilities and excavation practices.  Responsible for all project supervision from initial proposal to project completion.

experienced in many different areas of work.  The project estimator has worked in various states and with many different types of soil and working conditions.  Project foremen come with years  and years of experience in the Florida work force specializing in underground utilities, excavation and grading.  The company also employs several skilled pipe layers, certified welders in various types of weld, heavy equipment mechanics, truck drivers and laborers skilled in all areas of pipe and excavation work.

DeJonge Excavating Contractors Inc. owns and operates track hoes of all sizes, loaders, dozers, grade tractors, semi-tractors trailers - both dump, liquid haulers and transport, dump trucks and service trucks.
